The high-powered, Android 6.0 smartphone, The Huawei Mate 8 has been previewed ahead of its official unveiling at CES 2016.
The phone runs on an octacore Kirin 950 processor that packs in four cores at 1.8GHz and four clocked at 2.3GHz. On top of that, graphics are taken care of by the Mali T880MP4 chip.
Two versions will be available – 3GB and 4GB – and will both feature a 6-inch IPS LCD display at 1080p.
The rear camera is a 16MP Sony IMX298 unit with optical image stabilisation and f/20 aperture, while the front-facer is an 8MP unit with f.2.4 aperture.
Other variants include 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options, all with microSD expansion.
The battery is a big 4000mAh unit and it will launch first in China, before an expected roll-out.
